The poor conditions of classrooms and bathrooms such as broken furniture, classrooms that are too hot or cold depends on the weather, mouldy walls and plaster falling off ceilings make primary students feel negative about their school. This also contributes to low motivation, low test scores, psychological problems, poor health, and poor academic achievements. This is a common problem in Syria.
